‘‘Twas the night before Kindergarten

And all thru the house—-

 All 3 kids were sound asleep by 7:15!

But before that—

A few books to calm the butterflies...

And my first baby is ready for her 1st day of Kindergarten when she wakes up!

Family is EVERYthing!

My youngest sister was very sick last week with complications from an appendectomy and I had the joy ofhelping taking care of my nephew, Rainer! Thankfully, Ali is now home and recovering and back with her sweet boy! 

Yes—he is as adorable in real life—even more so!!! 

Being a big boy with his big cousins!

His baby BFF, Bents, is standing up all the time now! 

Eating like a grown man

And keeping me smiling every day! 💙

And gosh- this one starts Kindergarten on Monday! Watching your children grow up is such a blessing (bittersweet sometimes!!!) and I’m thankful for a God that I can trust to guide and guard her every little step of the way! 

We went to open house last night and Chloe had a blast- she said it was her most exciting day lately! 

Safe to say Ryder might be our future class clown?! 🤪

Kindergarten— here she comes!!! 🍎📖🖍✂️✏️

And Lord bless her teachers because she really loves to get crafty (and messy!) 

This is her current “work station” where she’s made Descendant accessories, “customized LOL dolls”, painted seashells, and made gifts for friends and family members! I love her creativity and she gets the mess honestly! 🙈 gotta have space to let the artistic juices flow! 

Time to enjoy our last weekend of summer fun!

From Nature Hunts to Treasure Hunts!

Our nature hunt yesterday sparked a treasure hunt in the pool this morning! So I took my little pirates and off we went! 

There were secret keys, coins, diamonds and all kinds of riches!  (Repurposed from an old game I found at Goodwill 😂) 

 

And even pirates get pooped after a long day “on the seas”—-

This evening Molly so graciously kept the boys while Trav and I took Chloe to her registration/teacher assignment night at North Pointe—I can’t believe she’s starting KINDERGARTEN in less than 2 weeks! 

We are all ready for new and exciting adventures!

Donuts and Pine Cones

I love starting my days off on the front porch with a cup of coffee and my birds- 

Don’t care how old that makes me sound—growing older and wiser has brought many blessings into my life- bird watching included! 🤓 

It wasn’t long before the kids were up and the bird watching was over 😉

and having a nature hunt at the park!
