{Be Radiant~3-8-11}

Good Morning!

I had to rise...but who said I had to shine...yet...anyway!
I could have atleast combed my hair for this pic:) Oops! Anyway...time to start getting ready...only 30 minutes to get out of the door!

My philosophy on makeup is to ENJOY IT but don't BE A SLAVE TO IT! There are plenty of mornings that I run out of my house or even go to work with no makeup up on and it makes me feel free to do that every once in awhile. In my early teens and college years I had trouble embracing my natural beauty and basically COVERED MY FACE UP every day...which was not only a hassel but it weighed my spirit down, too. If you feel this way please remember that you are FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE, SPECIAL, and UNIQUE! LOVE THE WAY GOD MADE YOU!
Ok, so getting back to the fun stuff! I've already applied concealer on my eyes, my powder, my blush and highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and one eye's worth of mascara:) Personally, I only like using powder because I HATE the way liquid feels on my skin. I like the naturally coverage that a powder gives me while allowing my real skin to show through. However, many people look flawlessly beautiful in liquid foundation and it works best for them. Products are unique to each individual. I wanted a bronzy, shiny cheek, a light eye and a simple black liner, winged slightly at the edge.
This look could easily be intensified for a dramatic evening look. But remember, less is always more! Especially during the day----you want to look like YOU just enhanced and put together.

---and I like to look AWAKE (even if I don't feel like it) and mascara is the key for looking like you slept a solid 8 hours:) ....You lucky dog!

I managed a side pony tail quickly as I ran out the door and this is the finished look---
VERY easy and pretty effortless, considering my 30 minutes included selecting an outfit, getting dressed, a quick ponytail, and packing my bag for work:)
I think I might just make it on time! :)
Yay! So, BE RADIANT and remember Psalm 139:14 declares, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Love,
Laura
