{Learning that Less is Best!}

I got such a SWEET surprise from Travis last night!

He knows how much I LOVE muscadines and they are now in season....WOO! HOO!...so he picked up a carton for me before he came home last night. AWWW! He had attached a little note to them and everything and it made me so happy! I have already eaten ATLEAST half, if not more---

I also found a very interesting article on Yahoo this morning. I have been VERY interested in the living on less notion lately, especially since it's my heart's desire to stay home with my children one day (and that will for sure take some financial sacrificing---although I believe the rewards will be great!) so I have been trying to practice being financially savvy to prepare for the future. You can read the article HERE---although I don't think I could ever own only FOUR plates! That's pretty extreme! But I totally get their drift...

I found a good book along those lines that I heard about on Focus on the Family. It's by a Christian author named Jill Savage and it's called "Living with Less so your Family has More"
I can't wait to pick it up from my local library.

And last but not least for today, here are this week's memory verses!

"Wisdom is sweet to the soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future and your hopes will not be cut short." ~Proverbs 24:14

and

"I will tell of the kindness of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us." ~Isaiah 63:7

....AND A JOKE!

Why did the teacher marry the janitor?

**He swept her off her feet!**

Have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!

Love,
Laura
