{Smile! It's almost Friday!}

That thought makes me smile! What about you???

So....

Here are a few other things from my week that make me smile, too!

Earlier this week I had a Dr. Appt. in Greenville so I stopped by the GWCC to see what treasures I could find. I got this awesome Fanny Pack- I am gonna wear it the next time I go yard-selling! I make my OWN style...hehe!
I also got this awesome and interactive "Wheels on the Bus"book for Makayla to play with...

And this seashell bag to use next summer....
And this MAC cosmectic bag to use NOW! *SMILE!*
This hat will come in handy next St. Patrick's Day....
BAHHAAAHAA!
Some books...

and something to keep my legs warm...lol! I LOVE LEG WARMERS!
And... some puzzles! This one was my fav! I love the wooden Playskool puzzles because my Granny had lots of them that I played with when I was little...great memories!

All that you see plus a giraffe print cardigan from Express a whopping $5! Not too bad!
Last night I noticed my beautiful tree blossoms were starting to all die so I clipped a few to enjoy inside...

I'm not sure what kind of tree they came from but I think they're beautiful! Does anyone know what it's called?

I also decided to cook a meal for my WONDERFUL HUSBAND last night! He would kill me for telling you this but I must brag on him a little...he shot one under par yesterday and I was so PROUD of him!

So I thought why not celebrate with a good home-cooked meal....since we haven't had one in weeks! lol!

I got this recipe from my sistah friend, Nikki, and it was DELICIOUS!!!

We shall call it "Nikki's Chicken Casserole"!

SO EASY!
All you do it mix in a dish:
1 1/3 cups water

1 cup instant rice (uncooked)

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1 can cream of mushroom soup

and some frozen or canned veggies

Next:

Lay frozen (but thawed) or fresh cut chicken breasts on top of the mixture. Cook for 45 mintues at 375. Near the end of cooking, sprinkle with a little cheese and ENJOY!

Love,

Laura

Thanks Mark! You're right...I think I do remember someone telling me when we moved in that they were crepe myrtle trees. Also, you need to tell me a good recipe to cook one night...you're always cookin' up something good!
