{Book, Books, EVERYWHERE!}

I'm still on my reading frenzy. I finished "Tweak" by Nic Sheff and it was great...you have to overlook some of the language and content since it's such a real story of an addicts life. I would recommend it, especially if you're in a line of work that helps people who are stuggling with addictions.

Hopefully, I'll finish the last few chapters of "Broken" by William Cope Moyers tonight. So far, it's not quite as engaging as "Tweak" was, probably because Tweak was written in very casual "street language" that made it so easy to read. But the overall story of a very successful man who became a crack addict is pretty good.

I have two books on hold at the library right now...

"Push", A Novel by Sapphire (which the movie Precious was based off of) and "Sickened: The True Story of a Lost Childhood" by Julie Gregory which is about a little girl who was abused by her Mother through Munchausen by proxy (MBP).

Hopefully you can enjoy some of these suggestions. I don't know about you but something about the summertime makes me feel like reading! Especially if I'm laying out on a beach somewhere!
Please let me know if you have any good summer reading suggestions!

Love,
Laura
